If you would like to adopt one of my bears it is best that you email me at: marygeorgebears@yahoo.com Adoptions are accepted on a “first come, first served” basis. *Payments may be made by Paypal, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), money order, or check for U.S. residents. For international residents, payment must be made through Paypal only. I will email Paypal invoice/link. *Teddy bears will be shipped within 2 business days after receiving credit card information or after check clears. *There is a 90-day lay-away plan available which requires a one-third non-refundable deposit at the time of adoption. The two additional one-third payments will be made 30 days apart and full payment is required within 3 months. Shipping charges will be added to the final payment. *Shipping includes postage/insurance and is via U.S. priority mail. If you would like to use an alternate shipping method, please email me to see what can be arranged. There will be additional shipping charges for bears shipped outside the continental USA and will depend on destination. *Teddy bear adoptions are non-refundable for the protection of all collectors because once a teddy bear is placed in a new home it would not be fair to present him to another collector as new. However, if a bear does not meet your expectations, and you notify me within 24 hours of receipt and can return the bear in his original condition within 5 days of receipt, I will work out an exchange with you for another bear, or if that is not suitable, a refund less shipping & fees. *Each teddy bear is made from distressed mohair and "gently" aged (some more than others) to look and feel like a bear from long ago. Materials include German and English mohair, authentic antique shoebutton eyes or hand-blown glass eyes, wool felt paw pads, excelsior/pellet/polyfil stuffing, perle cotton nose. Bears are 100% artist made. All my teddy bears are adult collectibles and not intended as a child's toy.
